Sewing & Craft Review- September 2019
Hi everyone! It’s October, which means that Halloween is on it’s way. As of this post, I’m still unsure what I should dress up as, but I have a few ideas that will require me to sew something. Since I plan on sewing this month, I wanted to do a sewing and craft review from September. I did a lot of sewing last month, but I also knitted. I plan on writing separate posts about each project this month, but for now I’ll just talk a little about everything I worked on.

4th Doctor Scarf
This weekend is San Diego Comicon weekend. So, in honor of it, I wanted this week’s post to be about something geeky, my 4th Doctor scarf! Actually I really should say my friend’s 4th Doctor scarf. Brownie’s Knitted Blanket
This post is a long time coming, but for whatever reason I never got around to making it. Ugh. Near the end of last year, my dog Brownie became very upset with me. She was angry that I was spending all my time knitting instead of petting her. Back then, my family member just passed away and she was feeling very down a lonely, as was I. Cable Knit Fingerless Gloves
It’s been a while since I talked about my knitting. I set my knitting aside for a while because I was more focused on sewing than knitting, but a few weeks ago I stepped outside during the night time and I realized I needed a jacket! It was weird because this happened in September and I normally do not feel cold enough to wear a jacket in Arizona during September. This made me realize that, after my weight loss this year, I didn’t have cold weather clothes that fit me anymore. After a blogging vacation, I’m back! Although I have sewing, drawing, and photographs to share, I thought it would be a nice change if I talked about a new hobby I took up late last year… knitting!
