The Turquoise and Grey Scrap Quilt- The Finished Top
Hi everyone! It’s time for another progress post for my turquoise and grey scrap quilt. You can read the previous posts about the turquoise and grey scrap quilt here and here. After working on the quilt blocks and sewing together, I finished the quilt top for my turquoise and grey scrap quilt!
This is what the quilt top looks like…

I really like the way it looks! There is even distribution of colors throughout the quilt and it looks really pretty. I think I had more grey fabric than turquoise, which is why the side of the quilt I’m showing right now has a lot of dark grey pieces in it. Still, I’m happy with the way it turned out.
As of the writing of this post I still need to work on backing and actually quilting this quilt. I’m at the same stage for my navy and yellow quilt, so I’m not too worried about how much progress I’m making on this quilt. I did have a tinny problem though: I had one extra block. When I was working on this quilt, I decided to use that block for something else.
In next week’s post, (Which will be the last post about this quilt for now) I will talk about what I decided to use the last block for and how it turned out!
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
