Spring 2026 Orange Tree Blossom Photographs (And an Update on the Tree’s Health)

Hi everyone! In spring, the orange tree in my yard did something my relative and I didn’t think would ever happen again: It grew green leaves and blossoms.

The orange tree, which is around 15 to 20 years old, was suffering from major problems. It wouldn’t grow leaves and any fruit it grew was not good. It was in such bad shape that my relative, whom I live with, was planning on getting rid of it. Before then, he decided to try something to see if the tree can be saved. It ended up working and it saved the tree! (The tree was suffering from lack of nutrients and correct amounts of watering.)

The tree is not completely out of trouble, but it is getting better. We didn’t have a harvest of oranges this summer ,(I’m not surprised based off the condition the tree was in) but it is still looking much better than it did this time last year! Also, this past spring the tree put out some new blossoms! I have posted photographs of this tree and it’s blossoms multiple times over the years, but I wanted to post this year’s photographs because of how special they are. I hopeful I can see the tree improve in the coming months and continue to grow oranges like it used to!

I’m not sure if these photographs really reflect the state of the tree or it’s leaves, but I can see issues with the leaves. Even though the tree is much healthier, it still needs time, water, and fertilizer to continue improving. Some of the leaves in the photographs do reflect this, but it isn’t as obvious unless you actually look at the whole tree. Specific parts of the tree are worse than others, so I decided to photograph the blossoms on the parts of the tree that look the best.
