The Navy and Yellow Scrap Quilt: The Finished Quilt Top
Hi everyone! After a few days of work, I was able to complete the quilt top for my navy and yellow scrap quilt. I already talked making this quilt in two previous posts. (You can read them here and here) In them, I mentioned how fast the quilt came together. Well, after a few days worth of work, I was able to complete the top!

The Navy and Yellow Scrap Quilt- The Full Sized Blocks
Hi everyone! It’s time for another post about the scrap quilt I made using the leftover fabric from the navy and yellow log cabin quilt I made last year. In my previous post, I talked about the base of the quilt blocks. In this post, I’m going to show what the full sized blocks look like.

The Navy and Yellow Scrap Quilt- The Basis Blocks and Why I’m Making Another Quilt
Hi everyone! Some time ago, I wrote a series of posts about how I made a navy and yellow log cabin quilt. After the quilt was finished, I had fabric left over. I’m trying to not throw away as much cotton fabric as possible, so I decided to make a scrap quilt using the leftover pieces of fabric.

Romantic Scrap Quilt- All the Strips Are Cut
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since since I talked about sewing on this blog. (Ok, it’s been a very long while since I posted regularly, but I was busy with life offline) In order to get back into talking about sewing, I decided to start by talking about some of the progress I made on one of my quilts: The romantic scrap quilt. (I used to call it the romantic scrappy quilt, but I decided to drop the “scrappy” and just call it “scrap”.) I talked about this quilt in a previous post. (You can read it here) In the post, I talked about the fabric I purchased, which…

Flora from Mansfield Park Table Runner Kit by Riley Blake Designs
Hi everyone! Earlier this month, I showed my Mansfield Park Gate Quilt Kit by Riley Blake Designs. In addition to the quilt kit, I also purchased the Mansfield Park Table Runner Kit. It is also by Riley Blake Designs and is part of their Jane Austen at Home collection. I liked this kit, it’s design, and the fabric designs, so I decided to purchase it. I think out of all the kits I own in the Jane Austen collection, this one is my favorite. I like the flower pattern. I fully intended to publish this post in which I talk about this kit earlier this month, but I didn’t. So,…

Mansfield Park Gate Quilt Kit by Riley Blake Designs
Hi everyone! Last year, I decided to buy some of Riley Blake Designs’ Jane Austen collection. The collection is a quilting fabric collection inspired by Jane Austen and her novels. The collection includes fat quarters, pre cut strips, and quilt kits. I already own three of the kits in the collection. (I talked about them here, here, here, and here) I like them a lot and planned on not purchasing any more kits from the collection. (They can be really expensive, hard to find, and I don’t always like the designs they create) Last year, after searching for the kits to make sure I really don’t want to own them,…

Long Lost Walmart Christmas Quilt Fabric- Old Plans and New Plans for The Fabric
Hi everyone! I’ve been doing a major clean out of all my things, including fabric. It’s been hard to let go of fabric I planned on using to make myself clothes and more, but I need to start letting them go. Even though I’m getting rid of a lot of fabric, I also discovered fabric I forgot I owned. In this case, I found a whole entire collection of Christmas fabric I purchased from Walmart.

Christmas Quilt Fabric Collection from Walmart
Hi everyone! A few years ago, I found some Christmas themed fabric available at Walmart. At that time, I wanted to make a Christmas quilt but didn’t try to collect fabric on it. I liked the Christmas themed fabric from Walmart, so I purchased my favorites and some coordinating fabrics from Walmart’s normal fabric line.

All The Waverly 1 Yard Pre Cut Coordinating Fabric Designs I Don’t Have Projects For
Hi everyone! While going through the photographs I uploaded onto this blog to use for posts, I found some photographs of Waverly fabric I purchased at Walmart. I could clearly tell intended on using for a future post. The problem is I don’t know what the sewing projects are! I decided that if I don’t use them for a post, I’ll delete them so there will be more space for other photographs. After a lot of thought, I decided to use all the photographs in one big post, showing off the fabrics, how well they coordinate with each other, and what I probably was thinking of using them for.
