4th of July 2017 Firework Photos

The 4th of July has come and gone, but I still wanted to share the photos I took of the local fireworks.

I wanted to try to take photos of the fireworks last year, but that ended up being a dud because my old Sony camera malfunctioned so badly it wouldn’t focus on anything. This year, I have my new Cannon so I decided to try to take photos of the fireworks and see how good the zoom works at night.

Some of the photos didn’t look really great, but I did get a few really nice ones!

Overall, I’m very pleased with the way these photos turned out. I’m very tempted to make fabric designs using these photos for myself because I wanted to have a firework dress/skirt/clothing for a few years now, but I could never find a design I liked. Since I wasn’t expecting to make clothing using a firework design, I’m not sure what to make or what photo I’d use for the design. We’ll see what I end up deciding to do. 🙂
