Christmas Tree Farm Wood DIY Sign- The Finished Sign
Hi everyone! Well, it’s almost Christmas and I’ve been pretty busy. Even though I’ve been busy, I was able to finish the sign! As of this publishing of this post, it is currently hanging up in my house as part of my Christmas decor. Since it is in use, I decided to take a photograph of the sign hanging on the wall.
Here it is….

I’m very happy with the way it turned out. I know I complained about the color scheme I picked and the stain and paint problems in previous posts, but I really like how it turned out!
After the last post I wrote about the sign, which you can read here (And the first post here), I took some time off working on the sign. I ended up liking the way it turned out and decided to proceed forward with my original plan for the sign. I cleaned up the paint and applied a top coat over the stained frame. I also used gold and silver paint pens to color the lettering on the sign as well as the trees. I also coated the lettering for Christmas Tree Farm with the same top coat I used on the frame.
Like I said before, I really like the way it turned out. It fits in with some of my newer decor really well. I am currently transitioning some of my older, worn out decor with new decor. Even though this sign is new, it still fits in with my decor I purchased over ten years ago. (This is also why I wanted to purchase a paint yourself sign. That way I can customize the way it looks to fit in more with my new and older decor.) I’m so happy to have it in my Christmas decorations! I just wish I had a better place to hang and/or display it this year! (I want it to have a more prominent place in my house. Sadly, I don’t have the room right now to do that this year!)
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
