The Navy and Yellow Scrap Quilt: The Finished Quilt Top
Hi everyone! After a few days of work, I was able to complete the quilt top for my navy and yellow scrap quilt. I already talked making this quilt in two previous posts. (You can read them here and here) In them, I mentioned how fast the quilt came together. Well, after a few days worth of work, I was able to complete the top!
This is what it looks like…

And here is closeup

I really like how it turned out. It’s not perfect in the way of seams perfectly matching, but this quilt was meant to be used by me and not one else. So, I’m fine with the flaws in the quilt. Thy really aren’t that noticeable in this quilt. Others I’ve made in the past (but have never shown online) are much worse.
I still need to put a backing on the quilt and actually quilt the quilt, but right now this is where my progress has stopped. I had to work on other things, including other sewing projects. So, the quilt is still unbacked and unfinished.
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
