The Space Scrap Quilt Blocks are Coming Together!
Hi everyone! I wanted to share some old progress photographs of my space scrap quilt! As of this post, I have finished the top of the quilt, but still need to quilt it and bind the edges. 2026 Spring Orange Tree Blossom Photographs
Hi everyone! I had to take a few days off posting this week to focus on offline things. During this time, I realized I didn’t publish a post with photographs of my relative’s orange tree blossoms! The Strips and Potential Additional Fabric for My Space Quilt
Hi everyone! Last week, the Artemis II mission ended. Even though I was really worried about the astronauts, I was really excited to see it from beginning to end. Simplicity’s USA 250 Sewing Patterns
Hi everyone! This year (2026) is the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. There are a lot of ways to celebrate the semiquincentennial, including making things. If you are interested in sewing something, you’re in luck because Simplicity has released three sewing patterns for the 250th anniversary! The three sewing patterns include a pattern for flags and appliqués while the other two are rereleases of costume patterns from the bicentennial pattern collection in 1976.
