Hi everyone! In October 2025, I decided to try to use my iPhone to take some photographs of a sunset and the desert. Prior to this, I was using my iPhone for a few months to take photographs of nature. I did this just to know the difference between my camera (A Cannon Rebel T7) and my iPhone. Hi everyone! Earlier this month, I showed my Mansfield Park Gate Quilt Kit by Riley Blake Designs. In addition to the quilt kit, I also purchased the Mansfield Park Table Runner Kit. It is also by Riley Blake Designs and is part of their Jane Austen at Home collection. I liked this kit, it’s design, and the fabric designs, so I decided to purchase it. Mansfield Park Gate Quilt Kit by Riley Blake Designs
Hi everyone! Last year, I decided to buy some of Riley Blake Designs’ Jane Austen collection. The collection is a quilting fabric collection inspired by Jane Austen and her novels. The collection includes fat quarters, pre cut strips, and quilt kits. I already own three of the kits in the collection. Cactus Flowers- November 2025 Part 2
Hi everyone! I like to go on hikes on land my relative owns. The desert there is really pretty and makes for great photography. During one of these hikes in November 2025, I discovered two of the cacti on the land were blooming or were about to bloom. I really like to take photographs of the desert in the area, so I decided to take photographs of the cacti and their blooms. I didn’t have my favorite camera, a Cannon Rebel, with me. Hi everyone! It’s that time of the year when I used to go to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. I used to really enjoy going and would have a fun time eating, watching the shows, and photographing what I saw there. During these years, things changed in my life and I began to favor other priorities. Some of them include my health, work, taking care of my relatives, and more. Cactus Flowers- November 2025 Part 1
Hi everyone! In November 2025, I discovered one of the barrel cacti near where I like to walk and take photographs of began to bloom. I like seeing the cacti in the area with blooms, so I took some photos of it. A few days after taking these photographs, I took some more photographs of a different cactus in bloom, but I’m saving those photographs for a different post. I used an iPhone 6s to take all the photographs in this post. I like the modern day iPhone cameras, but I prefer my Cannon Rebel. Sadly, I didn’t have it with me that day. So the iPhone must do.

7 Knitting Projects for 2026
Hi everyone! This year, I have a lot of knitting plans. I have quite a lot of yarn from scrapped projects that I need to turn into something. Out of all the knitting projects I have plans for, seven stand out the most to me. They are the most important and the ones I want to work on the most. For this post, I wanted to list the seven projects I want to work on for 2026 as well as the reasons to work on them.
