Navy and Flower Sleeping Top Completed
Hi everyone! A few months ago, I decided to make myself some new pajama/sleeping clothes. I started making myself pajamas and sleeping clothes for several years due to cost, wear and tear, and to avoid aggravating my sensitive skin. In a previous post, which you can read here, I talked about making pajamas out of Waverly fabric from Walmart. I decided to use the navy and floral fabric to make myself a sleeping top to match my shorts.

Winter Deer Scene Embroidery Kit Progress: Finished Deer and Some Green Embroidery
Hi everyone! It’s time for another progress post for the Winter Deer Scene Embroidery Kit. I already mentioned in my previous posts about this kit (You can read them here and here) but I worked on this kit months ago. While I worked on it, I took progress photographs of the kit for various reasons. I decided to wait until the holiday season to publish posts about my embroidery progress and other thoughts I have of the kit. In this post, I will focus on the deer embroidery and other progress I made at that time.

Christmas Quilt Fabric Collection from Walmart
Hi everyone! A few years ago, I found some Christmas themed fabric available at Walmart. At that time, I wanted to make a Christmas quilt but didn’t try to collect fabric on it. I liked the Christmas themed fabric from Walmart, so I purchased my favorites and some coordinating fabrics from Walmart’s normal fabric line.

Waverly Fabric for Pajama Tops (And Potentially Other Projects)
Hi everyone! It’s December, which means many things to me. One of the non holiday related things is that it’s time to work on making myself new pajamas. I decided to make myself some pajama tops using Waverly 100% cotton fabric I purchased from Walmart. I think this is the most economical and logical way to find fabric for my tops. (Well, right now it does) Also, I plan on using two different designs for my top. They will match pajama shorts that I plan on making in the future.

Winter Deer Scene Embroidery Kit Progress and New Floss Color Choices
Hi everyone! It’s time for a progress post on my Winter Deer Scene embroidery kit! For this post, I want to show the first phase of progress as well as talk about my new color choices for the floss. I already mentioned in my first post in this series, but I have already finished embroidering this design. I decided to delay publishing the posts about this kit near the holiday season.

New Embroidery Project: Winter Deer Scene
Hi everyone! A few months ago, I began to work on a new embroidery project. It is part of an embroidery kit I purchased off Amazon. I already finished embroidered one of the designs. I talked about it in this post and this post. The new embroidery kit design I started working on is a winter scene with two deer. I started and finished this design months ago, but I decided to delay publishing posts about it until the winter. I thought it would be more fun to publish posts about my work during the holiday season.

Sewing Vogue Pattern V2004: Cutting Out Pieces & Thoughts on Cutting Them Out of Bed Sheets
Hi everyone! Over a year ago, I planned on publishing more posts about my sewing progress creating Vogue Patterns’ V2004. I got sidetracked while writing the posts, so I ended up leaving them as drafts. Over a year later, I decided to finish writing the posts. In that time, I decided to scrap my old version of the dress and make a new one. I really didn’t like the way it fit in the chest, so I decided to remake it. I cut out all the pieces… and that’s as far as I’ve gotten in making it. Even though the posts I worked are for the first version of the…

All The Waverly 1 Yard Pre Cut Coordinating Fabric Designs I Don’t Have Projects For
Hi everyone! While going through the photographs I uploaded onto this blog to use for posts, I found some photographs of Waverly fabric I purchased at Walmart. I could clearly tell intended on using for a future post. The problem is I don’t know what the sewing projects are! I decided that if I don’t use them for a post, I’ll delete them so there will be more space for other photographs. After a lot of thought, I decided to use all the photographs in one big post, showing off the fabrics, how well they coordinate with each other, and what I probably was thinking of using them for.

Disney x Thomas Kinkade Mickey and Minnie Mouse Quilt Panel- Fabric and Future Plans
Hi everyone! A few years ago, I noticed the Walmart location I normally shop at had a fabric panel for sale. It is part of the Disney x Thomas Kinkade collection. It features Micky and Minnie Mouse on a picnic, as depicted by Thomas Kinkade Studios. I really liked this panel, but I thought I didn’t need another fabric panel to work on. After walking by it for many months, I decided to purchase it and a coordinating fabric to create a wall hanger.

Romantic Scrappy Block Quilt- The Fabric and Cutting Out the Pieces
Hi everyone! A few months ago, I decided to buy fabric from Walmart to make myself new quilts. I had my eye on certain fabric colors and designs as well as fat quarter bundles. After taking them home, I decided to start sewing the quilts. Sadly, my life became very busy very quickly. So, I set them aside to focus on more important matters. While searching through my blog post drafts, I found the photographs of the progress I made making one of the quilts. I called the quilt the Romantic Scrappy Block Quilt due to the fabric colors and designs as well as the design I want to make…
