Snowy Mountain Scene Embroidery Update- The Finished Project and Thoughts on It
Hi everyone! It’s been months since I published a post about my embroidery. So far progress has been slow on all my embroidery kits. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to finish all my kits, but I know now it will take me some time. In the mean time, I decided to talk about the progress I made so far.
I am happy to report that the kit I worked on first is now officially done!
Here’s what it looks like out of the frame…

I really like the way it turned out. I think there are parts I could’ve done better, but it’s not a bad attempt at embroidery after years away from the hobby.
After finishing this kit, I moved onto the second kit in the pack I purchased. (The pack came with three kits. I’ll talk more about the second kit in a future post.) After working on the second kit and looking at the third kit, I now believe this kit with the mountain landscape is the easiest of the three. I’m also happy I didn’t use the thread that came with the kit. The thread that came with the kit tangled really easily, so I used Coats and Clark’s embroidery floss. I really like how the colors turned out in this design.
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
