Winter Storm Photos- February 2019
Hi everyone! In February of this year, Arizona received a lot of rain. And it was cold. And there was snow! Although I did not get any snow where I live, it was really nice to see the snow on the mountains and feel the cooler than average temperatures. Since I had a new camera that I wanted to practice using, I decided to take it out and start taking photos of the clouds and snow. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the best photos of the snow on the mountains, but I do have a few photos that I’m happy to have to remember the storm!
A photograph of one of the many mountains with snow on top…
This is the only photograph I have of snow on the mountains near where I live that turned out clear.
More storm clouds arriving in the distance…
While I was out, I found this little guy (or girl?) sitting on the electric wire near where I was hiking…
I was able to take many photos of him/her because it stayed put while I took photos. It’s been at least six months since a bird or animal stayed put while I took photos of them, so I was happy to have photos of the little guy!
The last two photos are of a saguaro cactus, except this time the clouds arrived and are blocking the sun…
Later on this week, Arizona is supposed to have another storm system come through. I’m unsure if I will have the opportunity to photograph anything during that storm, but if I do and photographs turn out well, I’ll try to post them.
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
