Red Horse Painting
Back in March, I made a new watercolor painting of a horse similar to my previous painting in the post here. Since I was mostly focused on the mane to be red, I call the painting Red Horse. Prints of the painting are available for purchase on Society6 and at Redbubble. The painting can also be seen on DeviantART, and Tumblr. Blue Horse Watercolor Painting
For the past week I’ve been trying to get better about finishing sewing projects and drawings that sat for weeks, months, even years so I can finally put them away or sell them. Back in September (Or August?) I thought it would be a great idea to make some watercolor paintings to sell in my Etsy store, but they sat under a pile of stuff for months. Fire Horse Painting
I’m still practicing on getting better using Photoshop and I thought I’d try to use a transparent background for a new painting. I never made my art available for sale as t-shirts because I never knew how to work with a transparent background. This is because I didn’t know how to turn non-transparent background paintings to have a transparent background. I’m currently planning on learning, or practicing at least, how to do this in the near future, but for now I decided to get familiar working with a transparent background. Princess Horse Painting
To make a long story short, I need a new computer. My old one works fine, but it’s old and I think it’s about time I got a newer computer with a larger memory. Since I’m computer searching, I thought I’d better look at possibly getting a new digital painting program. The plan is to still use Gimp, but also learn, and use, the new program in preparation of possibly getting an art job somewhere.
