Inktober 2017-Week 2 Drawings

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry this post is so overdue. I don’t know why, but I didn’t get to finish posting all my Inktober drawings. I began writing this post in October 2017, it was burred in my drafts and was never published. So, here it is, my last post for my Inktober 2017 drawings. Published in January 2018. *sigh*

On week two, I still used a black gel pen and black ball point pen for the line art and shading. I wanted to try using colored markers for this week’s drawings, but I realized I really love using the gel pen for the line art and the ball point pen for the shading too much to switch. Also, I can bring the pens with me wherever I needed to go. If I used markers, I would need to bring a whole entire marker set, and that wasn’t practical for me to do.

I didn’t want to make this week a themed week because drawing something that will be colored in ink instead of colored pencils is hard for me. So, I needed the ability to change my drawing inspiration depending on the day and how confident I felt in my drawing.

Day eight’s drawing was of Anna from the Disney movie Frozen, but I think she looks more like Anne of Green Gables without the hat (Which I’m not upset about. Just surprised)…

Day nine’s drawing was of Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen…

Day ten’s drawing is an autumn still life…

After the last drawing, my computer went down and I was sidetracked from my Inktober drawings. I ended up drawing a few more, but only one ended up on Instagram.

So, that’s the story of my last Inktober drawings. I hope I will be able to draw and post my drawings for this year’s Inktober (If I have the time to do it) and keep this blog up to date about them.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
