Inktober Drawing Promps 2021
Hi everyone! October is a week away and that means it’s almost time for Inktober! (Or, in my case, Sketchtober) If you never heard of Inktober (Or Sketchtober) it’s when artists draw a new piece of art every day though out the month of October. For artists participating in Inktober, each new piece must be drawn by pen or ink based drawing supplies. For Sketchtober, it must be a sketch only. Winter Lady Watercolor and Pencil Art
Last year, after months of not drawing original art (Sans clothing and costume ideas) I sat down and drew a new picture! And, because I’m ridiculously slow about talking about anything but fabric designs on this blog, I’m going to talk about it now. *sigh* This drawing, called Winter Lady, was drawn on watercolor paper with a pencil and then colored with watercolors and pencil. Overall, I’m very happy with the way it turned out. I wish I talked about this picture sooner, but eh. Better late than never. Especially since it’s December and the weather is cooling off. Sort of. 2017 Chinese New Year Rooster Sketch
I wanted to draw a sketch to celebrate Chinese New Year for a while now, but I never had the opportunity until this year. I drew the sketch late for Chinese New Year, but I’m very pleased with the way it turned out so I decided to write a post about it! 2017 is the year of the rooster, so I naturally had to draw a rooster.
