Tinyspool & Co. Fall Harvest Jelly Roll Fabric Pack
Hi everyone! Like many people, I am very busy this time of the year. November is normally a slower month for me (Except the week leading up to Thanksgiving) but this year I am busy. Along with a major months long organizing project, I am also currently repainting one of the rooms in my house. I am also trying a new diet that requires eating more made-from-stratch foods in order to avoid food allergies. With so many things going on in my life, I don’t have the time like I wish I do to sew, knit, or do anything I normally want to do with my free time. Even though…

31 Fall Themed Art Prompts
Hi everyone! When I worked on a list of art prompts for my Inktober/Sketchtober post for this year, I began to think of other ideas that would be great for a themed list! After some work, I created a fall themed art prompts list. This fall themed list focuses on fall themed ideas only. Halloween oriented ideas will have their own list. This list is not the only themed list I will be posting this week for Inktober/Sketchtober, so if you don’t like this art prompt list, then my other lists may interest you! I hope you are inspired!

Fall 2023 Sewing Plans
Hi everyone! It may be summer right now, but I need to focus on my plans for creating a fall wardrobe! My body and lifestyle has changed since last year, so I want to own and wear different clothes. I want to have these clothes ready for when the fall comes. That way I won’t worry about finding clothes when the temperatures change! After looking through what is available for purchase right now (Which is, obviously, not much) I decided to try to make myself some clothes. I have a bucket list of fall and winter clothes I want to sew and wear but never have. I’m planning on taking…

Photographs of the Finished Fall Quilt
Hi everyone! Well, I finally finished the binding on the fall quilt. Now that it is done, I wanted to show off the finished version of the quilt… After thinking about this quilt, I decided to turn it into a wall hanging decoration instead of a throw quilt. Despite this, I am going to wait a while before I create a way to hang the quilt on the wall. I’m currently thinking of different ways, but I would like to take my time to research and decide how I would like to hang it on the wall. Also, I just want to rest after making the quilt. It took a…

Fall Quilt Update- Quilting on the Fall Quilt Is Finally Finished!
Hi everyone! I have some happy news! I finally finished quilting the fall quilt! Here’s a photograph of the finished quilt… I’m very happy with the way the quilt came out, but there are some spots I wanted to go back and work on quilting some more. I thought they would look better if I quilted them, but after trying to quilt them, I didn’t like the way they looked. After taking a few days rest, I looked at the quilt and decided I didn’t need to quilt them after all. So, the quilting is now finished! All I need to work on is the binding. I plan on making…

Fall Quilt Quilting Progress Update
Hi everyone! I finally made a decision about how large I want my quilt to be. After a lot of thought, I decided to keep the quilt the size it currently is. I don’t like the idea of making the quilt larger because I think the fabric I wanted to add to the border of the quilt will take attention away from the panel’s picture. I also plan on turning the quilt into a wall hanging, but I don’t plan on adding the wall hanging sleeves to it for a while. Since I decided what the size of the quilt should be, I started to work on actually quilting it!…

Picking The Binding & Backing Fabric for the Fall Quilt
Since I’m getting closer to finishing the quilt, I wanted to pick out the fabric for the binding and backing. I knew I would need the backing before the binding, but I still wanted to pick out the binding. That way I wouldn’t need to worry about finding the right fabric for the binding when I need to work on the binding.

Sewing the English Paper Piecing Onto the Fall Quilt Corners & More
Hi everyone! After I finished working on the English paper piecing applique, I took a long period of time off working on the quilt to focus on other things that required more attention than the quilt. After a month or so of not working on the quilt, I finally had the chance sat down and began to finish the quilt. Before I worked on anything else on the quilt, I needed to sew the English paper piecing applique onto the corners. I started by taking the paper out and pinning the loose edges down. I didn’t want to iron the fabric because I was afraid ironing the applique would make…

English Paper Piecing Border Corner Details for the Fall Quilt
After sewing the borders to the quilt panel, I focused on picking an English paper piecing design and the fabric to make it out of. I thought very hard about what kind of quilt block I wanted to use. After finally hitting a mental road bock, I decided to do a search on Google for quilt blocks. I found a few that I liked, so I saved them, printed them off, and looked at the printed versions in order to make a final decision. After some thought, I picked this quilt block…
