Fall Quilt Update- The Borders and Corners Are Sewn On!
Hi everyone! I have some new progress to report on my quilt: I was able to sew the border and corners on! Doing this was pretty simple, (Sew the corner fabric onto the edges of the cut border fabric. Then sew them onto the quilt panel.) but I still wanted to mention it. In my last post, I showed the border fabric and corner fabric. The idea is to use the border fabric and corner fabric to make a frame around the panel.

My New Sewing Project: Making a Fall Quilt
Earlier this year, I had the urge to sew again. I normally sew a lot whenever I’m stressed out and, at that time I was very stressed out. So, I decided to start sewing something that would take my mind off my worries. After digging through my pile of fabric, I decided to make a queen sized fall quilt using a panel and fabric I already purchased that correspond with the panel.

Sewing Progress for May 22, 2021- Fall Quilt and Christmas Dress
Through out the month of May, I tried to work on my sewing work in progress projects that I never got around to finish. I have so many of these that I’m very embarrassed to admit how many of them I need to work on. I did make progress with my sewing projects, but I didn’t make as large of a dent in my to-do list that I wanted to. So, on the second to last weekend in May, I decided to pick up my sewing projects and finish as many as I could before May 31. Even though I work from home, I knew I would have an easy…
