Early Spring Desert Photographs- February 2019 Part 1
Hi everyone! In February, it rained a lot in Arizona. It rained so much that the wild flowers bloomed near the end of February. Since I had my new Canon Rebel, I decided to go for a hike and take photos of the wild flowers as well as some of the desert plants in the area. I took so many photos during my hike I split the photos into two posts. The second post is coming later on this week.

Earlier this week, I talked about the Ironwood tree blossom photographs I took this past spring. For today’s post, I wanted to share the Ironwood blossom photographs that I converted to black and white. The photographs in this post are the last photographs I took of the 2018 spring blossoms. I’m sad I do not have more to share, but I’m happy I have photographs of the blossoms I feel comfortable sharing on my blog! That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

2018 Spring Ironwood Blossoms
For the last few weeks, I talked about the photos I took of peach tree and Saguaro blossoms. This week, I wanted to share the last set photographs I took of 2018 spring blossoms. The last set of photographs are of Ironwood tree blossoms. Normally, the Ironwood trees near my home do not blossom as much as they did this year. Every single Ironwood tree I saw was covered in lavender purple blossoms. They were so beautiful and I’m so happy I got to see them and take photos of the blossoms!

2018 Peach Tree Blossoms
Hi everyone! It’s time for the yearly post of all the peach tree blossom flower photos I took this year! It was hard to take photos of the blossoms this year because the blossoms are very late. Normally the blossoms come in February, March at the latest, but this year they didn’t come until April. The amount of time I could take photos of the blossoms was very short as well, but I was able to get some very nice photos of the blossoms!

2017 Peach Blossom Black and White Photos
Hi everyone! This is the last post of 2017 and I don’t know were the time has gone. For this post, I wanted to share one last set of photos I took in 2017 that I converted from color to black and white. These photos are of the peach blossoms I took very early this year. The colored version of the peach blossom photographs can be seen in a post I wrote here. Here are the photographs… Editing these photos was fairly easy. They converted to black and white without too much fuss. In fact, the only thing I needed to do was adjust the contrast before they looked the…

2016 Peach Tree Blossoms
I was so busy earlier this year that I forgot to post photos of this year’s peach tree blossoms! Since the temperatures in Arizona were unseasonably warm, the peach trees bloomed a month early. Other plants bloomed early as well, but the peach trees where the ones that drew the most attention from bees, butterflies, beetles, and even a hummingbird. Although I was unable to take pictures of all the animals visiting the peach trees, I still have some very nice pictures of the blossoms! Since I took so many pictures of the blossoms, I’m posting a few here. The rest can be found in my Flickr albums for February…

February 2015 Spring Blossom Photos (And a few sunsets)
To make a long story short, I missed photographing the cactus blossoms this year. And I’m also missing photographing the saguaro blossoms as well, so in order to make up for the lack of blossom photos, I’ll show you some photos I took back in February. All the photos in this post are from my Flickr account. The rest of the photos can be found in the February 2015 Nature Photos album.

2015 Spring Blossoms- The March 6th Version
It’s that time of year when I make a post of all the flowers and blossoms I find near my house. The plants began to blossom a few weeks ago, but they slowly began to get more and more flowers. Since I’m not sure how much they’ll blossom this year, I decided to take photos before they either fall off or the plants die. I’m sure there will be other plants blossoming in the future but I’m not sure when that will happen. Once it happens, I’ll take more photos and make another post with the new photos. All the photos in this post was taken on March 6, 2015.…
