Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, I published a post about sunset photographs I took in January 2023. I wanted to split the photographs into two different posts because the scenery is different depending on the the photograph. I had every intention of posting the photographs one week apart, but I decided to reexamine the photographs I wanted to post in the second post.
All of the photographs I took in this post are of a different area of the desert. This area now has more people living nearby, which means I need to be even more careful about what I photographs and what I don’t. This area will change very soon with new homes being built there, so I wanted to enjoy photographing the scenery as much as possible before it changes completely forever.
This is also why I decided to reexamine the photographs I wanted to post. I didn’t want to include anyone’s homes and property in the photographs. All the photographs in this post do not have anyone’s homes in them (That I’m aware of at least).
And now, onto the photographs!
It makes me sad to see this area disappear. It is one of my favorite places to take pictures of the sunset during the late fall, winter, and early spring times. This season is probably the last time I can take photographs of this area before it changes.
