Desert Sunset Photographs January 2023- Part 1
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I posted photographs I took of the desert. The desert where I like to take photographs of have changed a lot over the years, which means that I don’t have a lot of places to take photographs of anymore. Despite the changing landscape, I did find some areas where I could take photographs of and not worry about bothering anyone living nearby.
I decided to hold off posting the photographs until a few months after I took them. I made this decision because I wanted to take some time to edit the photographs as well as try to let some time pass between when I took the pictures and when I posted them. Sometimes, it’s a good thing to post photographs quickly after they are taken. Sometimes, it’s not. For these photographs, I decided to play it safe and not post the photograph until a few months after they were taken.
For the first series of photograph I took of the desert in 2023, I decided to start with a collection of photographs I took during the month of January. I took so many photographs of different parts of the desert, I decided to group the like photographs into posts based off the subjects in the photograph. For part one of the posts, I grouped together photographs I took of a saguaro cactus from the same angle, but with close up views verses long shots.
Here are the photographs…
I really liked the sunset that day. Arizona had a lot of rain in January 2023 compared to other years, which made it easy to take beautiful photographs of the sunset.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
