Hi everyone! It’s been a few years since I wrote a series of posts about sewing clothing. I used to do this a lot for the costumes I made. Today, I prefer to make my own clothes instead of costumes! Sewing Project List for the End of Winter 2023
Hi everyone! Spring Solstice (AKA the beginning of spring) will be here next month. I am both happy to see warmer temperatures come back, but I also despise the warmer temperatures. Living in Arizona is not fun during the summertime! Even though summertime will be no fun due to the heat, I always look forward to wearing cute, light weight clothing. This year, I plan on making myself more clothes than I buy. Fall Quilt Update- Quilting on the Fall Quilt Is Finally Finished!
Hi everyone! I have some happy news! I finally finished quilting the fall quilt! Here’s a photograph of the finished quilt… I’m very happy with the way the quilt came out, but there are some spots I wanted to go back and work on quilting some more. I thought they would look better if I quilted them, but after trying to quilt them, I didn’t like the way they looked. After taking a few days rest, I looked at the quilt and decided I didn’t need to quilt them after all. So, the quilting is now finished! All I need to work on is the binding. I plan on making…

Fall Quilt Quilting Progress Update
Hi everyone! I finally made a decision about how large I want my quilt to be. After a lot of thought, I decided to keep the quilt the size it currently is. I don’t like the idea of making the quilt larger because I think the fabric I wanted to add to the border of the quilt will take attention away from the panel’s picture. I also plan on turning the quilt into a wall hanging, but I don’t plan on adding the wall hanging sleeves to it for a while. My New Sewing Project: Making a Fall Quilt
Earlier this year, I had the urge to sew again. I normally sew a lot whenever I’m stressed out and, at that time I was very stressed out. So, I decided to start sewing something that would take my mind off my worries. After digging through my pile of fabric, I decided to make a queen sized fall quilt using a panel and fabric I already purchased that correspond with the panel.

Sewing Progress for August 2021- Planned, Work in Progress, and Finished Projects
It’s already the end of September and, even though I wrote this post in August, I was on a break from blogging until September. Since my last sewing progress post in July, I finished some of my sewing projects, began (or continued work on) two others, and am currently making plans for new projects. I’m very excited about these projects, so I decided to make a new sewing progress post. I don’t have photographs to show off any of my sewing projects, but I will be posting photographs and taking more about them in future posts.

Sewing Progress for May 24-28, 2021
During the last week of May, I thought I would be busy with work in the beginning of the week but it would slow down in mid week. Once my work slowed down, I planned to do more sewing. Unfortunately, that’s not how the week went. At mid week, once work slowed down, I began to have adulting problems. These problems, which included some air conditioner and vehicle problems, caused me to focus all my thoughts and energy on them instead of sewing.
