The Patriotic Scrappy Quilt- The Fabric Choices
Hi everyone! The 4th of July is tomorrow! I’m excited to have a day off work. I’m also planning on eating steak and watching fireworks. This year, I planned on making a patriotic quilt. I bought the fabric and had a plan for it, but I didn’t move forward with it. Now that it’s the 4th of July, I’m a little disappointed I didn’t start on my quilt and can use it in my decor this year. Even though I’m disappointed, I wanted to share my plans in a post before I move forward with making the quilt.

Beach Scene Quilt Panels (And Some Potential Future Plans for Them)
Hi everyone! After the problems with my turquoise and grey log cabin quilt, I decided to take a break from sewing for a while. Even though I’m on a break from sewing, I decided to clean out parts of my house. This is when I found more fabric. Some of the fabric was not longer good fabric (It was faux leather and was deteriorating) there were many pieces that were good. I decided to sort through them and see which ones I wanted to make or give away. This is when I found quilt panels I purchased a few years ago to hang on my walls. The panels are of…

Arizona Sunset Photographs- December 2024 Part 2
Hi everyone! I’m back with more old photographs I took of a sunset in Arizona last year. Like with Part 1, I took these photographs of an area where I like to photographs sunset, sunrises, and the desert in general. I knew it would be changing sooner rather than later, so I like to take photographs of any pretty sunset in this area. I took these photographs using the camera on my smartphone. I didn’t have the chance to get my Cannon camera, so I used my phone. Also, I took all the photographs in this post on a different day than the photographs in the Part 1 post.

Arizona Sunset Photographs- December 2024 Part 1
Hi everyone! I’ve found some more photographs I took last year of sunset in the Arizona desert. I was taking as many photographs as I could when the sky was nice last year. The desert where I normally like to take photographs is changing… again. I wanted to take as many photographs I could before it changed so much I couldn’t take photographs of the natural desert. I took the photographs in this post using a smart phone. I wanted to take photographs using my Cannon camera, but I could use it on this day.

The Turquoise and Grey Log Cabin Quilt- The Finished Blocks and Choosing the Layout
Hi everyone! The posts about the turquoise and grey log cabin quilt are back… for now at least! I needed to take a break from posting them. I ran into problems while quilting that made me frustrated. So, I needed a break from writing about the quilt and focus on other things. For this post, I will be talking about how the finished blocks look and the layout I decided to make for it.

Hi everyone! I found some more sunset photographs I want to post! I took these photographs with my iPhone in November 2024. I’m really annoyed I didn’t post these photographs sooner, but I’m afraid they got lost on my computer. Now that I found them, I decided to post them before I lose them again!

November 2024 Sunset Photographs
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I published a post featuring my photographs. For the most part, I’ve been having some issues with my photo editing software and some other issues with my camera. My camera is fine now, but I’m seriously looking into getting a different photo editing software. I’m really upset about this, but I know it’s time to work with a different software. Other than that, I’ve been taking photographs. Sadly, I haven’t been doing a good job posting my favorites online. This summer, I decided to focus on publishing more posts of my photograph. I want to start with some sunset photographs I took in…
