Space Themed Cotton Fabric- What the Fabric Looks Like & Plans
Hi everyone! Since I published my last post, I’m still trying to use Canva as my blog photo editing software program. It’s been interesting to say the least and I’m still slow about editing the photographs. For the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to edit photographs for posts. That hasn’t worked out as I hoped it would. So, I’m going to start publishing posts about the fabric I’ve been collecting for a few years. My plan is to talk about the fabric and what I plan on doing with them. I finished editing the photographs for these posts before I started to have software problems.
The first of these posts is my collection of space themed cotton fabric.
EDIT: All the photographs in this post have the wrong watermark. It is for my lifestyle blog, not this one. I will keep the photographs like this due to my inability to edit them without a proper photo editing software.
This is what the fabric looks like all together…

I own one fat quarter of a NASA print…

Which I clearly bought on sale.
This is what it looks like unfolded…

I wish I had purchased more of this fabric. Sadly, I found this fabric in the clearance section of Walmart a few years ago. My closest Walmart doesn’t sell it anymore.
Instead, Walmart does sell two fat quarter bundles in space themes. This is what the first one looks like when it is purchased from the store…

And this is what the fabric in the bundle looks like…

This is the second bundle of fabric…

And this is what the fabric in the bundle looks like…

My plan is to turn them into a quilt. I already picked the design. I plan on making a scrappy quilt by cutting all the fabric except the NASA print into 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch squares and sewing them together. I plan on cutting the NASA print into larger squares. I want the print of the fabric to be seen more clearly than it would be if it were cut into a 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch square.
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
