Velvet Yarn Grey Knitted Scarf
Weather in Arizona is warming up and that means I need to put away my winter clothing. Before I put all my winter clothing away, I wanted to share my new scarf that I knitted in December.
While shopping at Michael’s for yarn, I found velvet yarn. I wanted a sweater made out of velvet yarn, so I picked up a few skeins to make sweaters out of. In addition to the yarn for the sweaters, I picked up some grey yarn that I planned to make a scarf and beanie out of. The original plans for the scarf and beanie fell through, so I made up my own scarf knitting pattern to use the yarn to make myself a scarf.
Here’s what it looks like…

The scarf turned out better than I thought it would. The pattern of the scarf is visible even though it was made with velvet yarn. I had problems trying to find a knitting pattern that I not only liked but was also visible through the velvet yarn. It’s super soft, warm, and is machine wash and dryable. I enjoyed working with this yarn and can’t wait to start making myself a new sweater using it!
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
