7 Knitting Projects for 2026
Hi everyone! This year, I have a lot of knitting plans. I have quite a lot of yarn from scrapped projects that I need to turn into something. Out of all the knitting projects I have plans for, seven stand out the most to me. They are the most important and the ones I want to work on the most. For this post, I wanted to list the seven projects I want to work on for 2026 as well as the reasons to work on them.

Decluttering My Synthetic Fiber Yarns and My Future Using Synthetic Fiber Yarns
Hi everyone! Over the years, I’ve been slowly decluttering my things. I needed to take time to decide which things I want to keep and which ones I don’t. Some things have been easy while others have not. Recently, I’ve been trying to declutter my sewing and crafting supplies. My most recent declutter is my knitting supplies. Trying To Use a Knitting Machine- How I’m Doing so Far
Hi everyone! After knitting for many years, I finally decided to try using a knitting machine. I decided to do this for two reasons: I want to give my hands more breaks from knitting without stop knitting and to make knitted projects faster than I can by hand. I am the proud owner of two circular knitting machines that are commonly found on Amazon. One is small (28 needles) while the other is the largest available. Taking a Hobby Break (Sewing, Knitting, Ect.)
Hi everyone! Well, it’s official. I am taking a sewing, knitting, and hobby that requires heavy use of my right hand break. I decided to do this because I have begun to struggle with stiffness in my right thumb. I have had problems with this since I was a teenager and, even though it’s not carpal tunnel syndrome, I have struggled with this for many years. Last week, while working on my pink and green quilt, I began to feel the stiffness return. A Few Sewing and Craft Things I’m Working on This Month- July 2024
Hi everyone! This year has been interesting. Every year has been interesting, but this year has included new experiences. One of those experiences is to work on my house. I finished painting my bathroom a few months ago and I’m still stunned it looks as good as it does. Hi everyone! Since last year, I have been working on new knitting projects. I originally planned to sew instead, but I had some issues with sewing patterns. Also, I decided to do some work in my house. These home projects caused me to put away my sewing machine for a while. Grey Knitted Beanie: Pattern Problems, Mistakes, and Starting Over
Hi everyone! In December 2022, I wanted to knit myself a new beanie. I had a knitting pattern that I wanted to use, but it required wet blocking to make it to be the right dimensions. I didn’t want to wet block the beanie (I wanted the beanie to be machine washable) so I decided to modify the knitting pattern to knit up to be the right size without wet blocking.
