Happy Doctor Who Day!
Today is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who so it felt awkward for me not to mention it. Especially since I’ve been watching Doctor Who since I was very young, it was my “comfort” show when I was sick, and was the only show my parents let me watch at 12:30 A.M.
Although I have some good memories watching Doctor Who (that I kind of forgot for a while thanks to being sick, high body temperatures due to being sick, and life in general) I’m unable to watch the 50th anniversary special because I don’t have BBC America or a friend who is also a Whovian and has BBC America. Although I won’t be able to watch the broadcast of the special, I will be able to watch it this Monday! Although I’m excited about watching it, I’m a little sad because it’s two days away and I can’t see the broadcast when it happens. (I kind of feel left out too
Since I’ll have to wait two extra days till I can watch the special, I have to avoid Tumblr, Facebook, and other websites so I won’t see any “spoilers”. At first this didn’t seem as hard as it sounds because I have work to do that requires my undivided attention and no social networking sites. Yet, before I logged into anywhere, I checked my email and the website has a Tardis flying around the website’s logo. So, this is going to be harder than I originally though. REALLY hard. Ugh.
Anyway, if you are a Whovian and can watch the special when it airs, I hope you enjoy it! AND DON’T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED UNTIL MONDAY!!! Haha!
That’s all for now!
