Arizona Spring Wildflowers- Spring 2023
Hi everyone! Last spring, Arizona experienced a Superbloom. If you never heard of a Superbloom, it is when plants in the area bloom in an abnormal abundance. Last year, the Superbloom was due to a large amount of rain in the winter months. Among the blooms were plants I didn’t recognize nor know the name of. One of these plants had a yellow bloom that was round. I didn’t know the name of it, yet it was too pretty to not take photographs of.

Arizona Wildflower Photographs- Spring 2023
Hi everyone! In a pervious post, I talked about the photographs I took of an Arizona highway during Spring 2023. Even though it is 2024, I really like how the photographs turned out. So, I decided to post as many as I feel comfortable until I take enough photographs during Spring 2024 to post. Continuing the photographs I took on the Arizona highway, I want to take photos of the wildflowers on the side of the road. When I took these photographs, I didn’t have many flowers to take photographs of. Some of the flowers had dried up when I went to the highway to take photographs. So, I had…

March 2023 Hedgehog Cactus and Saguaro Ribs Photography
Hi everyone! I’m still going through my old photographs I took in March. Arizona was very beautiful at that time, which made great photographs! In this post, I wanted to share some photographs I took of an Engelmann’s Hedgehog Cactus (Echinocereus Engelmannii), Saguaro ribs, and the wildflowers around them. I found the cacti near my relative’s property. I can visit it whenever I want to without problems, so I decided to take photographs of the area. At that time, yellow wildflowers peppered the area. Even though there were yellow wildflowers in the area, there wasn’t as many wildflowers in the area until the next month. Still, there was enough pretty…

March 2023 Miscellaneous Desert Sunset Photographs Part 1
Hi everyone! This past spring, I took many photographs of the desert post rain. The clouds were beautiful and the desert was green. I loved the way the desert looked. Taking photographs during this time was a fun time for me. I enjoyed it a lot! After going through my photographs, I found some photographs I really liked but they didn’t fit into any other post themes I could come up with. Instead, I decided to create a collective post dedicated to the miscellaneous photographs I want to include with a post. I ended up creating two posts featuring the miscellaneous photographs I took in March 2023. The photographs in…

March 2023 Yellow Flower Photographs
Hi everyone! In March, 2023, the spring 2023 superbloom was going to happen, if was happening already. In my area, the major blooms didn’t happen until April. Still, there were a few flowers that bloomed in March. They just weren’t in an abundance as it would eventually be. While walking around my relative’s property, I found a few small yellow flowers around the area. These flowers are common in and around my relative’s property. Based off a light Google search, I can’t find information about the name of the flower. Even though I don’t know what the name of the flower is, I always look forward to seeing them bloom.…

Arizona Marigold Wildflower Photograph- May 2021
Last month, I went for a casual drive and saw some wild flowers near the side of the road. It’s been hard to find wild flowers this year because of the lack of rain this year, so when I saw a few flowers on my trip, I stopped and took a few photographs. The only wild flower I was able to take a picture of is of a Arizona Marigold… Although I saw other wildflowers on my drive, they weren’t very photogenic. This Marigold looked photogenic, so I focused on taking a picture of it. I took the photographs using my Iphone 6 Plus. I found my Iphone takes…

Desert Highway Spring Blossom Photographs- March 15, 2020
On March 15, while on my way home from running errands, I decided to do something I wanted to do since January: Pull off on the side of the road and take photographs of the wildflowers. There was a road not too far from where I live that was perfect to do this. It was quiet, less populated, and had beautiful scenery. After traveling to the road and pulling off the side of the road, I crossed to the other side to take photographs of some of the flowers. Before I made it all the way across, I took a photograph of what the road looked like that day… Like…

Apricot Mallow Wildflower Photographs- March 10, 2020
In March, the Arizona desert was in bloom with wildflowers. There was an Apricot Mallow (or Desert Globemallow) near where I like to hike that blooms during this time of the year. So, while on a hike on March 10, I went to the area where the brittle bush is located and took some photographs of it and it’s blossoms. While I was there, I saw an insect on the bush’s blossoms. Even though I knew where this bush was and could get to it easily, I was unable to take more photographs of it and it’s blossoms. I was too busy working and getting things ready for a potential…
