Summer Solstice 2023 Desert Sunset Photographs Part 2
Hi everyone! On June 21, 2023, AKA summer solstice, there was a beautiful sky at sunset. I took may photographs of the desert my relative lives near. I took many photographs of the sunset with my favorite saguaro cactus to photograph, which I talked about in a separate post. After taking those photographs, I walked around the desert some more to see if there were any other areas in the desert I could take pictures of. I found a few, but some turned out better than others. For this post, I want to talk about some of the photographs that I think didn’t turn out as well. Even though they…

Quail and Moon Photographs- May 2019
I went for many hikes during the month of May. I try to hike when it’s coolest because it’s dangerous to hike during the heat of an Arizona mid day. During May, I would hike during the sunset because, even though it wasn’t the coolest part of the day, it was the time of the day when the most animals would be out. On multiple hikes, I would see quail running around and enjoying the cooler weather. After seeing the quail multiple times, I decided to take my camera with me to take photographs of them. Here is one quail sitting on a metal bar… And the same quail (I…

Full Moon Photographs- July 15, 2019 Part 2
Hi everyone! Last week, I posted the photographs I took of the full moon from July 2019. Although I’m very happy with the way the photographs turned out, I wanted to share the last set of full moon photographs. I’m so happy I took so many photographs of the moon last week, especially since since there was clouds on both nights that blocked the moon. Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Full Moon Photographs- July 15, 2019 Part 1
Hi everyone! On July 15, 2019, the moon was full and looked very pretty. Since I was happy with the photographs I took the night before the full moon, I decided to take more photographs. Like the night before, clouds from a storm miles away covered the moon for about an hour. While I waited for the clouds to clear, I took some photographs of the full moon with clouds in front of it. I didn’t like the photographs from this night as I did the previous night. I don’t know why that is, but it just turned out that way. Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Full Moon Photographs- July 14, 2019
Hi everyone! On the same night I took the photographs of the clouds in front of the moon in the previous post, the clouds cleared up revealing the moon. Since the moon looked so clear, I decided to take photographs of the moon. Ok, I actually took many photographs of the moon. The reason why I took so many photographs of the moon is because I was unsure if the photographs showed the moon’s craters clearly. Some of the photographs show the craters clearly while others don’t. Still, I’m happy with the way they turned out. Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Full Moon Cloud Photographs- July 14, 2019
Hi everyone! I have a lot of photographs I want to post from May, but because the 50th anniversary of the moon landing was last Saturday, I decided to post these photographs first. The day before the full moon, there was clouds in the sky. It looked very pretty, so I took some photographs of the moon with clouds in front of it. As you can see, I took a lot of photographs of the moon and clouds in front of it. I’m very happy with most of the photographs, so I decided to post all of them. Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
