Quail and Moon Photographs- May 2019
I went for many hikes during the month of May. I try to hike when it’s coolest because it’s dangerous to hike during the heat of an Arizona mid day. During May, I would hike during the sunset because, even though it wasn’t the coolest part of the day, it was the time of the day when the most animals would be out.
On multiple hikes, I would see quail running around and enjoying the cooler weather. After seeing the quail multiple times, I decided to take my camera with me to take photographs of them.
Here is one quail sitting on a metal bar…
And the same quail (I think…) running around on the ground…
One day, while I was out on a hike taking photographs of the quail, I took a photograph of the moon as well…
