New Knitting Projects and Worries About Storing Yarn

Hi everyone! Since last year, I have been working on new knitting projects. I originally planned to sew instead, but I had some issues with sewing patterns. Also, I decided to do some work in my house. These home projects caused me to put away my sewing machine for a while. Since I didn’t have my sewing machine out anymore, I decided to knit instead of sew.

So far I’m enjoying knitting right now. I’m making scarfs inspired by the house scarfs from Harry Potter. The pattern I used is from the first Harry Potter knitting book. They turned out really nice. I decided to make many scarves in different color combinations including sports teams and colleges I attended in the past. I still have one scarf in progress and at least three scarves planned. I’m seriously considering reducing the number of scarves I’m making, but right now I’m having a lot of fun knitting them.

Even though I’m very happy with my projects, I am frustrated with my yarn collection. I like my yarn collection, but I have nowhere to store them! My inability to store the yarn I own is part of a larger frustration I have with my house. It is a good sized house, but there are many problems with it. I also am not enjoying the area where I live. I like my neighbors (They aren’t the reason why I don’t like the area) but I have major problems with other things in the area. I don’t talk about where I live online because I want to keep the area private. Still, I have worries and concerns about the area. (Again, not about my neighbors!)

To be honest, I have no clue how to store the yarn or any of my other DIY supplies. I feel worried about getting rid of them because I don’t want to repurchase them again. To be honest, I think I need to rethink my storage in the house. I need to stop looking at pictures online for craft rooms and storage inspiration. The homes in the pictures are not my house and cannot be used in the same way I need to store everything in.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
