XP-PEN Deco 01 V2 Graphic Tablet Unboxing
After months of searching, which I talked about in this post and this post, I finally settled on a new drawing tablet for my computer! I picked the XP-PEN Deco 01 V2 Graphic Tablet. It can be purchased on amazon, which is where I found it, and is under $60 USD. I plan on posting an unboxing video on YouTube, but I recently had computer problems that prevented me from editing new videos.
Even though I plan to make an unboxing YouTube video, I took photographs of the unboxing. Since it will take me a while to finish the video, I decided to write a post about unboxing the tablet and any thoughts I had at that time. As for the YouTube video, I will post a link to the unboxing video after I finish editing it in a different post.
P.S. This post is not sponsored. I paid for this tablet with my own money and was not gifted to me for a post.
This is what the box the tablet came in…
And here is the back of the box with a list of all the items contained in the box and the specifications for the tablet’s software…
The white part of the box is actually a sleeve. When the sleeve is removed, the box is completely blue with no decoration printed on it…
The box’s top flips open like a book by lifting the right side of the lid. Once open, the first thing you find inside the box is the tablet…
The tablet is covered in a plastic bag. Once removed from the plastic bag, the tablet looks like this…
The tablet has a plastic covering over the drawing surface area to protect it while traveling. I’ll talk about how to protect the surface area of the tablet in a different post.
Here is what the tablet looks like after it was removed from the box, showing the items that came with the tablet…
Before I took this picture, I took everything out of the box for the unboxing video. Because of this, everything in the box was photographed out of the original packaging.
The items that came with the tablet are a stylist for the tablet…
A holder for the stylist…
Which, if you flip it over, will serve as a device to remove the old, worn nibs/tips from the stylist…
There are also instructions on how to pull the tips out in case someone forgets how to operate it.
In addition to the stylist, it comes with a glove to wear in order to aid in drawing with the tablet…
And finally, the tablet came with two converters to allow for use on other devices besides a desktop or laptop…
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the tablet and the addition items in the tablet. The tablet is 10 inches by 6.25 inches, which gives me a great surface area to draw on. When I opened this box, I was very excited to start using the tablet. Unfortunately, work, life, health problems, and computer problems prevented me from sitting down and actually using the tablet. I plan on writing a post (and making a video) about the tablet as soon as I have enough experience working with the tablet to give a review.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
