Cactus Flowers- November 2025 Part 2
Hi everyone! I like to go on hikes on land my relative owns. The desert there is really pretty and makes for great photography. During one of these hikes in November 2025, I discovered two of the cacti on the land were blooming or were about to bloom. I really like to take photographs of the desert in the area, so I decided to take photographs of the cacti and their blooms. I didn’t have my favorite camera, a Cannon Rebel, with me. Cactus Flowers- November 2025 Part 1
Hi everyone! In November 2025, I discovered one of the barrel cacti near where I like to walk and take photographs of began to bloom. I like seeing the cacti in the area with blooms, so I took some photos of it. A few days after taking these photographs, I took some more photographs of a different cactus in bloom, but I’m saving those photographs for a different post. I used an iPhone 6s to take all the photographs in this post. I like the modern day iPhone cameras, but I prefer my Cannon Rebel. Sadly, I didn’t have it with me that day. So the iPhone must do.

Arizona Desert Rainbow- November 2025
Hi everyone! In November, there was a rain storm that created a double rainbow. I was sick that day so I was inside all day long. Yet, I felt good enough to go outside and take some photos of the double rainbow. I took the photographs on my iPhone. I would get better photographs of the rainbow if I used my normal camera, a Cannon Rebel T7. I didn’t think of grabbing it until the rainbow disappeared. This was what my brain and ability to think was like that day!

Discovering One of My Favorite Photogenic Cacti Has Died- Cactus 2
Hi everyone! Well, the time has come to talk about a second cactus that has died. This time, it is a saguaro cactus. This cactus was my favorite saguaro cactus to take sunset photographs of during the late fall, winter, and early spring. The sun would be perfectly positioned behind it, making the best sunset photographs. Earlier this year, I discovered the cactus had finally died. I wasn’t surprised it died because it looked like it has issues for the past three or so years. Still, it made me upset and very sad to see that it has finally passed away.

Arizona Sunset Photographs- December 2024 Part 2
Hi everyone! I’m back with more old photographs I took of a sunset in Arizona last year. Like with Part 1, I took these photographs of an area where I like to photographs sunset, sunrises, and the desert in general. I knew it would be changing sooner rather than later, so I like to take photographs of any pretty sunset in this area. I took these photographs using the camera on my smartphone. I didn’t have the chance to get my Cannon camera, so I used my phone. Also, I took all the photographs in this post on a different day than the photographs in the Part 1 post.

Hi everyone! As summer winds down and fall approaches, I tend to romanticize the areas of Arizona I either lived in or spent time in growing up. The mountain of Arizona are getting cooler in the fall and temperatures start to go from in the 100 degree Fahrenheit to a far more tolerable, if not very pleasant temperature. Spring Cactus Blossom Part 4- Spring 2023
Hi everyone! This is the last post I took of the Engelmann’s Hedgehog Cactus blossoms for 2023! While on a walk in spring 2023, I saw two Hedgehog Cacti in bloom. I didn’t notice them before, so I decided to take photographs of them. I needed to take the photographs at a distance because the area was on a part of property my relative owns but is fenced in. I couldn’t get into the fenced in area to take close up photographs of the cacti, so I used my telephoto lens on my Cannon Rebel T7 to take photographs of them.

Spring Cactus Blossom Close Up Part 3- Spring 2023
Hi everyone! Today’s post are of close up photographs I took of the Engelmann’s Hedgehog Cactus. I took these photographs in Spring 2023. I was happy to see so many cacti blooming that I happily took many photographs of the blossoms. Some of the photographs I took of the blossoms are close ups. This is the last of three posts featuring the close up photographs of the blossoms. I have one post left of the Hedgehog Cactus photographs, which will be out next week. Then I will move onto posting other photographs I took both in Spring 2023 and throughout the rest of the year.
