Summer Solstice 2023 Desert Sunset Photographs Part 2
Hi everyone! On June 21, 2023, AKA summer solstice, there was a beautiful sky at sunset. I took may photographs of the desert my relative lives near. I took many photographs of the sunset with my favorite saguaro cactus to photograph, which I talked about in a separate post. After taking those photographs, I walked around the desert some more to see if there were any other areas in the desert I could take pictures of. I found a few, but some turned out better than others. For this post, I want to talk about some of the photographs that I think didn’t turn out as well. Even though they…

Hi everyone! This is the last post of the photographs I took during my trip to the Florence-Kelvin Highway in December 2020. In this post, I wanted to share all the photographs I took during the trip but I took before I left the highway and went home. Because of this, there are photographs of a variety of subjects I already posted about such as the crested saguaro, road, and desert with clouds and virga in the background. Also, I took photographs of other cacti near the road.

September 1, 2019 Cloud Photography
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I posted some of my photographs, so I decided to start posting some again. On September 1, 2019, a late summer storm arrived in the afternoon. At that time, I had my camera out to take other photographs, so I went outside to take some photographs of the clouds. I didn’t expect to take so many photographs of the clouds, but I ended up finding so many spots in the clouds that would create great cloud texture photographs that I went a little camera happy. I wish I had the ability to take photographs of the desert and how the clouds looked as…

Wood Texture Photographs- February 2019
Hi everyone! In February, I found some old wood and tried to take some wood texture photographs that I hoped to use as a background and stock for future blog post featured images. At this time, I still used the auto focus and experimented with the settings of my Canon Rebel. The wood turned out really well. I’m extremely pleased with the result and can’t wait to start using the full size photographs as stock photographs! That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

While going through my old photographs, I found some more photographs I never posted online. Since I’m going to be busy this week (Actually I should say I’m supposed be busy this week. It could change at a moment’s notice.) I decided to post the rest of the photos before I forget. The photographs in this post are from the sunset on December 29, 2018. That day, a winter storm was on it’s way so there was many clouds and a beautiful sunset. Since I took so many photographs, I split the photographs into two posts. This post features the cloud photographs only. Next week, I will post part 2.…
