My Tentative 2020 Fall/Winter Knitting Plans
Hi everyone! It’s September and fall is well on it’s way. Although I’m very excited to see fall on it’s way, I need new fall and winter clothing and accessories. After searching for new knitting patterns and yarn to make them, I believe I have my tentative knitting plans in order and ready to be knitted.
As of this post, my plans are tentative and are not certain. I’m not sure if I will change my mind about what to make, but I’m pretty happy with my list right now. Here are my current knitting plans…
Men’s Knitted Beanie
I found a knitting pattern for a men’s knitted beanie at Megan Brightwood’s blog and YouTube channel a few years ago, but, although I made it before, I made one for my friend. After making it, I always wanted to make one for myself. I have the yarn for it and I’m ready to finally knit myself one. It’s not a difficult pattern to make so I plan to make and finish it within two or so weeks.
Darling Jadore Sweaters
I found Darling Jadore on Etsy and fell in love with her sweater designs. I purchased a few sweater knitting patterns from her Etsy store, but I never had the time to sit down and make them. I now have the yarn to knit them, but I’m not sure how long it will take me to make. I never knitted a sweater pattern from her, so I’m not sure how long it will take for me to finish.
Scarf, Sweater, or Something Else from Vogue Knitting
I have enough yarn to make at least one knitting project from a past issue from Vogue Knitting, but I’m not sure what I want to make. There is a scarf I already made but would like to make another of in a different yarn as well as patterns for sweaters and blankets I have my eye on. As of right now I did not decide on what I will make, but I know I want to make at least one knitting project from Vogue Knitting.
I have other knitting plans, but I’m fairly certain I will not be able to work on them. Since the knitting projects I am working on this season are more complicated than other knitting projects I ever tried before, I don’t want to take on more knitting projects before I finish everything on my to-knit list. Also, I have sewing projects I need to work on as well, which will take up more of my spare time. Although I know I will be busy, I’m very excited to start knitting!
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
