In March, I went to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. I try to go every year, but due to a family health emergency, I really didn’t feel like going this year. I thought I’d skip this year, but I ended up going anyway. I also went with a friend, which was the first time I went with a friend in years!
Since my mind was focused on the family illness and I wanted to enjoy spending time with my friend, I didn’t feel like dressing up and I didn’t take as many photos as I normally do when I’m at the festival. I do have a few, most are located in my 2016 Arizona Renaissance Festival on Flickr, but here a few of my favorites…
While I was at the festival, I used a bag I like to use while traveling. The last time I used the bag was at the 2015 Renaissance Festival and I didn’t clean it out. So, while looking for my wallet while waiting in line to buy my ticket, I found my ticket from last year’s festival!
In addition to the photos, I took some video at the festival. Since it was Time Traveler’s Weekend, there was a Time Traveler’s costume contest. I took video of that, but I have yet to upload it to Youtube. Since my camera does not like to take long, continuous videos, I had to stop recording every now and then to give my camera a break. I have most of the contest recorded, but they are in different videos. I’m not sure if I should upload the videos individually or create one long video using a video editing program and upload that. Although the last idea is ideal, I don’t have a video editing program! I think it might be a good idea to have one, just in case, but I don’t think I can justify buying one when I don’t think I’ll use it very often.
So, that was my adventure at the 2016 Arizona Renaissance Festival! Thank you for reading!
