Summer Solstice 2023 Desert Sunset Photographs Part 1
Hi everyone! Last week was the Summer Solstice, AKA the first day of summer! It wasn’t as hot as it normally would be this time of year. It was a really nice change of pace for anyone living in Arizona! Despite the lack of the normal temperatures, it was still hot outside. The temperatures forced me to say inside most of the day. This is why I was so surprised when I looked outside my window at sunset and saw a beautiful sunset sky! After debating if I should or shouldn’t go outside, I decided to grab my camera and headed to my relative’s property to photograph the sunset. I…

Desert Saguaro Cactus Sunset Photographs February 2023- Part 2
Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, I published a post about a handful of sunset photographs I took in February 20223. I still have more photographs of a sunset around the same time. I haven’t posted them online yet, so I decided this would be a great time to post them now! I don’t remember the exact day I took these photographs. Yet, I do remember I took them in February 2023. The saguaro cactus in these photographs is my favorite cactus to take sunset photographs of. On this day, the sunset wasn’t as bright and bold as others. Still, I really like how the clouds turned out, with an…

Desert Saguaro Cactus Sunset Photographs February 2023- Part 1
Hi everyone! The 2023 Super Bloom has already come and gone. I miss the beautiful flowers and the rain, yet I don’t miss the allergies and problems trying to travel in the rain! Even though it is gone, I have many photographs I took of the storms and wildflower blooms. I made an effort to go outside and take photographs during this special season. It has paid off a lot, but I haven’t posted as many photographs as I planned to! This summer, I decided to post some more photographs from the Super Bloom. This week’s photography post is of a sunset that happened in February, 2023. It isn’t the…

Desert Sunset Photographs January 2023- Part 2
Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, I published a post about sunset photographs I took in January 2023. I wanted to split the photographs into two different posts because the scenery is different depending on the the photograph. I had every intention of posting the photographs one week apart, but I decided to reexamine the photographs I wanted to post in the second post. All of the photographs I took in this post are of a different area of the desert. This area now has more people living nearby, which means I need to be even more careful about what I photographs and what I don’t. This area will change…

Desert Sunset Photographs January 2023- Part 1
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I posted photographs I took of the desert. The desert where I like to take photographs of have changed a lot over the years, which means that I don’t have a lot of places to take photographs of anymore. Despite the changing landscape, I did find some areas where I could take photographs of and not worry about bothering anyone living nearby. I decided to hold off posting the photographs until a few months after I took them. I made this decision because I wanted to take some time to edit the photographs as well as try to let some time pass between…

August 2022 Sunset Photographs
Hi everyone! Earlier this year, I mentioned that the natural desert I love to take photographs is changing. At the time I wrote that post, I believed the desert would change too much for me to photograph it. A few months later, things have changed, but not enough for me to not photograph the desert. I did need to change my camera angles, but I could still photograph the desert! In August, I went to my favorite photographs spots to take a few photographs of the desert and the summer sunset. On the day I took the photographs, the sunset was not as nice as others I photographed in the…

November 1, 2019 Desert Sunset Photographs
I’m currently in the process of looking through my old photographs and moving my oldest photographs to hard drives. While moving my old photographs, I discovered I had more photographs I can post! These photographs are from a hike I went on in November. The sunset was so beautiful I took a few photographs of it as well as a saguaro cactus. I have some more photographs I took that same day, but that’s all I have to share for now. Thank you for reading!
