Florence, Arizona Home Tour- February 2018- Part 6
The next stop was the Clarke House. It is located on Main Street and currently serves as the location of the Florence Reminder Blade Tribune, the town’s newspaper. It was a long walk from the Catholic church, but at that time I wanted to force myself to walk more for exercise. Since it is where the newspaper’s office is located, I didn’t take many photographs of the outside of the building and none of the inside of the building.

Florence, Arizona Home Tour- February 2018- Part 5
Right beside the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Parish Church is the Gila Chapel. Many years ago, the Gila Chapel was restored and used for mass during the weekdays. I haven’t been inside the chapel since it was restored. The Gila Chapel was another stop I wanted to see while on tour, so right after I finished looking at the main church, I went to the Gila Chapel to see what it looks like today.

Florence, Arizona Home Tour- February 2018- Part 4
Down the street from my previous stop on the home tour was my next stop: Assumption of the Virgin Mary Catholic Church. It is always on the home tour and I couldn’t wait to go inside. It’s been many years since I went inside the church and I was curious to see how it looks.

Florence, Arizona Home Tour- February 2018- Part 3
Not very far from the last stop was my next stop, tour stop 2. I don’t remember the official name of house, but it is currently used as a private home. Because it is a private home, I decided to not take photographs while inside the building.

Florence, Arizona Home Tour- February 2018- Part 2
After visiting the Second Pinal County Court House, I went to the next stop, tour stop 11. The name of the building is the Jacob Suter House and is located near the corner of N Pinal Street and 8th Street. It used to be a home but it is now used as a studio for artists in the community. During the tour, there were artists working inside of the building painting, drawing, and sketching. Even though the public was allowed to look at all the artists and their work, they weren’t allowed to photograph them while they work. Because of this, there isn’t very many photographs of this building and…

Florence, Arizona Home Tour- February 2018- Part 1
Back in February 2018, I decided to go to the Florence, Arizona Home Tour. I wasn’t that fond of going on the home tour that year, but I forced myself just to see what it’s like, what’s changed, and how the home tour was that year. Although this home tour happened two years ago, I never posted the photographs I took while on tour. There are many reasons why I never posted them, but after letting the photographs sit in my computer for years, I decided to finally write some posts about each stop I went to on the tour as well as everything I can remember from each stop.…

Abandoned Sewing Projects from 2018
Hi everyone! Since 2018 is almost over, I wanted to write a post with a topic different from my usual sewing, photography, and art year end round up. Last year was filled with failed sewing projects or ones I abandoned for a variety of reasons. Since I feel bad that I didn’t talk a lot about anything I sewed last year, I wanted to mention some of my many abandoned or failed sewing projects from 2018. Although this post is about my abandoned and failed sewing projects, I do not plan for them to remain abandoned in 2019. For some of the sewing projects, I will be working on them…
