New Sewing Machine
The past few weeks have been hard on me post-wise, especially when it comes to sewing. The reason why is because of my sewing machine. I already had a sewing machine, a Singer, but I messed up the timing of it a year ago. Recently, I’ve been watching a lot of sewing shows in order to try to find new techniques and tips to help me sew faster and easier while keeping the sewing look very nice. One of the “tips” I heard of is to use a ruffling foot to make ruffles. I’ve heard of a ruffling foot, but I never looked for such a foot for my own sewing machine. Sewing Machine is Out of Commission….
Last night I was sewing one of my projects when something happened to it and now it won’t sew anymore. My mom, who is much more knowledgeable in how to fix sewing machines than I am, is going to help me see what is wrong with it. Hopefully it won’t require being taken somewhere so it can be fixed, but it put a HUGE damper on my sewing plans for the weekend.
