The Turquoise and Grey Log Cabin Quilt- The Finished Blocks and Choosing the Layout

Hi everyone! The posts about the turquoise and grey log cabin quilt are back… for now at least! I needed to take a break from posting them. I ran into problems while quilting that made me frustrated. So, I needed a break from writing about the quilt and focus on other things.

For this post, I will be talking about how the finished blocks look and the layout I decided to make for it.

This is what the finished blocks looked like…

I still really like how the colors look against each other!

Since they were done, I decided to play around with patterns I could make with the block. Here’s one of them…

 

I liked this block, but I decided to use the same pattern the website I got my quilt from says to…

I like how this design looks, but I liked the first layout more. Still, I really like how my quilt turned out! I’ll talk more about it in the next quilt post.
