An Update About My Spoonflower Shop- Relisting Old Designs and Current Plans for the Future

Hi everyone! Well, it’s time to write an update post about my Spoonflower Shop. I’ve had my shop for many years, but recently Spoonflower changed some things about it. To me, both are good and bad, but I wanted to focus on the designs I used to have available to purchase in my store.

I used to have many designs in my store that were set to private. One of the changes Spoonflower has made is to remove designs that are not selling well from public view. For some of these designs, I am upset about. Setting them back to public view are an easy fix, so I’m not as upset as I would’ve been if they were removed completely from my shop. Yet, there are designs I was looking at and thought “Um… no. They don’t look really good!”

I needed to do a major comb through my Spoonflower designs for many years. I never got around to doing it because I was always too busy to sit down and work. Now that many of the designs I don’t like are no longer available for public view, I can honestly say I’m not happy enough with them to set them to public viewing and make them available for sale.

In addition to this, I also found many designs I really like, yet hate their color schemes. I want to revisit them and give them a different color scheme. I’m seriously interested in this because I know which of my designs people are drawn to and want to purchase.

And finally, I need to sort out my name on Spoonflower. I use the pen name of Jessica Anderson (Formally Mary Ruth Anderson) for my blogs. On the Spoonflower site, my name is neither. So, I think I need to have a serious think session about what to call myself on Spoonflower. (Maybe even my real name?)

There are many changes coming to my Spoonflower shop in the foreseeable future. I just home I have the time to sit down and actually work on them! (I’m really busy right now and I haven’t had the time to sit down and draw in a while. And I hate it.)

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
