Sewing Patterns I Want to Make in 2020- Part 3
For the past three posts, I talked about what sewing pattern I want to make in 2020. You can read those posts here and here. This post is the last one and, unlike with my previous posts, in this post I will talk about all the patterns I want to make from one brand, Vogue. (I talked about other Vogue sewing patterns I want to make in 2020, but it just so happened this post has all the Vogue sewing patterns.)
The first sewing pattern I want to make is Vogue V1669…
This sewing pattern was released in 2019 and I really liked the way it looks. I don’t have fabric to make it, so I don’t plan on making this pattern within the first few months of January. I hope once I finish making my other sewing project I can focus on finding fabric and making this pattern.
The next sewing pattern I want to make is Vogue V1643…
The moment I saw this pattern, I knew I would need to own it. It has very 1980’s Chanel look to it, a style of clothing I would like to own and wear. So far I’ve done absolutely nothing to prepare for making something from this pattern except buy the pattern. I plan on diving into the planning stages sometime in mid year.
The next sewing pattern I want to make is Vogue V9280…
I already have the fabric to make this pattern, but I’m procrastinating making this pattern. It is a dress pattern and I want it to be a coat. Although I know how to turn it into a coat and already have a plan laid out how I will tackle the coat, I’m still intimidated by it. Since I don’t need the coat right away, I’m holding off working on it until I fully talk myself into making the pattern.
The last sewing pattern I would like to make is Vogue 2484…
This is a vintage coat pattern I found on Etsy last year. It is designed by Anna Sui and is exactly the kind of coat design I want to own but couldn’t find in store during winter. I already know where to find some fabric that will work for this pattern, but I have yet to buy it. Also, I will need to enlarge this pattern because it’s smaller size than I normally take in clothes. Because I’m working on other warm clothes using other sewing patterns, I’m not going to worry about this pattern right now. Except for buying fabric for it.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
