Cactus and Desert Blossoms- April 2019
Hi everyone! Near the end of the hike I was on and taking photographs of the spring desert blossoms, I found a cactus starting to bloom. Since I had my camera with me, I took photos of the cactus and the blossoms… After taking photos of the cactus, I found a bush with purple blossoms on it. I always had a hard time taking photographs of the blossoms because they are so small my old Canon camera couldn’t focus on them. Cactus Blossoms- April 2019 Part 1
Hi everyone! In April, some of the cactus near where I like to hike began to bloom. I decided to take some photographs of the cactus blossom buds. While looking for other cacti to photograph, I found a cactus that was the same kind of cactus as the first one, but with different colored blossoms. Hi everyone! Today is part 2 of my sunset photography posts of the photos I took on December 29, 2018. I’m so happy I have no more sunset photographs from 2018 I need to post! Cactus Blossom Photographs- August 2018
Hi everyone! For today’s post, I wanted to share a series of photographs I took while I was without my computer. (For more information about that, please read this post) While I was without a computer, the seasonal monsoon storms rolled through my area, giving me a great opportunity to take photos! Although I have at least six posts about the clouds and sunsets from the storm days, I wanted to share the photographs I took of cactus blossoms I took while I photographed the sky. 2018 Saguaro Blossom Photos
Near the end of April 2018, the Saguaro cactus began to blossom. The Saguaros near my home blossomed for about two or so weeks before they closed. During this time, I made plans to take photos of the blossoms, but I was only able to take photos of the blossoms two times, near the beginning of the blossom season and at the end.

February 18, 2018 Desert Photographs
On February 18, 2018, there was a winter storm that came through the area I live in. It did rain some, but that’s about it. January 13, 2018 Desert Photography- Black and White Version
Hi everyone! In my last post, I talked about photos I took while on a hike. While editing the photos for the post, I also converted some of the photos from color to black and white. Here’s what they look like… I like how many of the photos turned out, but I’m not happy with some of the other photos. Hi everyone! I’m back with some more black and white photographs, this time they are ones I did not post here before. I found them while searching for other photographs I took this year, but when I realized I never posted them.
