Hiking Desert Photographs- May 2019
Today’s post is the last photography post from May! There isn’t a lot of exciting photographs to share, but I am happy with the way they turned out.

Woodpecker Photographs- May 18, 2019
While on a hike in May, I found a woodpecker sitting on a metal fixture. It didn’t seem to mind me because it stayed on it’s perch while I walked towards it. Since I had my camera with me, I decide to take some photographs of it. That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Quail and Moon Photographs- May 2019
I went for many hikes during the month of May. I try to hike when it’s coolest because it’s dangerous to hike during the heat of an Arizona mid day. During May, I would hike during the sunset because, even though it wasn’t the coolest part of the day, it was the time of the day when the most animals would be out. On multiple hikes, I would see quail running around and enjoying the cooler weather. After seeing the quail multiple times, I decided to take my camera with me to take photographs of them. Here is one quail sitting on a metal bar… And the same quail (I…

End of Season Cactus Blossom Photographs- May 18, 2019
In May, I went for a hike and found some of the cactus blossoms already began to wilt. It was near the end of the cactus blossoms season so I missed taking photographs of the blossoms, so I took photographs of the cactus blossoms before the season was over. As you can probably tell, I didn’t take many photographs. This is because most of the blossoms already fell off the cactus, leaving me without very much to photograph. That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Rabbit Photographs- July 14, 2019
Hi everyone! In July, I found some rabbits near where I like to hike. Although I’ve seen rabbits outside before, this was the first time I saw one lay down. Because I thought they looked cute, I decided to take some photographs of the rabbits that day. When I edited the photographs, I realized some of the photographs turned out darker than I wanted them to. Even though I tried to edit them to look the way I want them to look, I gave up and decided to share the photographs even though they are darker than I’d like. Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Cactus Blossoms Part 4- May 18, 2019
While hiking, I saw a few saguaro cacti that had blossoms. At that time, it was near the end of the blossom season, so I started to take as many photographs of the blossoms before they went away for the year. That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Cactus Blossoms Part 3- May 15, 2019
Hi everyone! I’m back to talking about the photographs I took earlier this year but never posted. Today’s photographs are of cactus blossoms. These photographs not my favorite and look pretty… bad. They’re ok if you crop them to look good, but was lazy so I didn’t do that. So, the world gets to see the photographs in their original, uncropped version. In case anyone is wondering, I did edit the photographs for contrast as well as to put the url address of my blog on them. So, I technically did edit them, but didn’t crop them to look better. Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Cactus Blossoms Part 2- May 8, 2019
In my previous photography post, I talked about posting a few photographs that I took for posts but decided not to finish the post. Continuing my previous post, I wanted to share the rest of the photographs from my failed camera comparison post. The cameras I wanted to compare was the Cannon Rebel T6 and Canon SX720. When I took the photographs, I knew which camera took which photos, but now that a few months have passed, I honestly don’t remember. I believe the photographs in this post are from the Canon SX720. I remember taking more photographs using the SX720 than the Rebel and the zoom on the…

Cactus Blossoms Part 1- May 8, 2019
While going through the photographs I never posted, I realized there are some I love, but don’t have many of because they are for posts I decided not to finish. These two photographs are from one of those posts. I wanted to show the difference between two cameras I own. I go into the cameras I decided to test in this post here. I took the photographs for my comparison post months ago, but I don’t remember which one is which. Although I don’t remember which cameras I took the photographs with, I still wanted to share them online. So, I’m starting with these two photographs. I believe I took…

Owl on a Saguaro Cactus- July 2, 2019
While trying to find old photos I never posted, I found these not-so-great photographs I took of an owl standing on a cactus. Although I’m happy I took the photographs of the owl, I’m not happy about the back lit owl. When I took the photographs, there was enough light to see the owl and cactus clearly, but my camera didn’t see it that way. So, now I have some back lit photos of the owl. Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
