Desert Sunset Photographs- March 4, 2018
Hi everyone! On March 4, 2018, I took a few photographs of a sunset near my house. I hesitated in posting these photos because there are only four photos and I feel like I’ve turned my blog into a photography blog and ignoring the sewing and art I love to post. I’m currently working on new sewing projects and I’m working on new art and sketches, but until I’m done with them I’ll need to continue posting photographs as filler posts. *sigh* Anyway, here are the photographs! That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

Desert Sunset Photographs- February 22, 2018
Hi everyone! On February 22, 2018, I took photos of a beautiful sunset. The sunset didn’t have the normal spectacular clouds near where the sun set in the sky, but there were clouds. I really liked the textures of the clouds so I took photos of them… Even though the clouds didn’t cover the setting sun, I was able to take some nice photographs of a saguaro cactus as the sun set… That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

February 18, 2018 Desert Photographs
On February 18, 2018, there was a winter storm that came through the area I live in. It did rain some, but that’s about it. (Raining is about all that happens during a winter storm in the area I live) Since there was clouds, I decided to take some photos of the sunset. That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

November 2017 Sunset Photographs
Hi everyone! I cannot believe this, but after searching through my drafts for my posts here on my blog, I found this post that was never published. I don’t know why it was never published, so I think it’s about time I post it! Most of the photos I took are the of sunsets and clouds, so I decided to post all the photos in one big post. The photos I’m posting are from three days, November 5th, 8th, and 11th. I have other photos, but I didn’t like them as much as the ones in this post.

July 4th Sunset Cloud Photo Dump
I have many photos from this year’s 4th of July, I decided to split them into three posts! This one isn’t as exciting as the others, but I still wanted to share the photos I took of the clouds at sunset. The photos I took are not of the sunset itself, but the clouds. When I went outside to take photos, I missed the sunset (I’ll explain why in the next post) but I was able to take photos of the clouds. That’s all for now! I know this post isn’t really that interesting, but I’m glad with the way the clouds turned out! I’m still happy and amazing with…

May 2017 Sunset Photos
After talking about knitting for the past few weeks, I wanted to give everyone (Including myself) a break from posting about sewing and knitting. When I bought my new camera few months ago, I wanted to see how well my camera took photos of sunsets. I thought I’d have at least a few chances to take photos of sunsets, but, unfortunately, the weather conditions were not perfect for a pretty sunset or I missed the chance for a variety of reasons. On May 29, 2017 I was able to get outside and take photos of a beautiful sunset. I’m very pleased with the way the camera took photos of the…

January 2017 Sunset Photos
Sorry about not posting in a few weeks. I’m still playing catch up with my side projects due to the stomach flu I had a few weeks ago. Since I’m not done working on them yet, this week’s post is about some photos I took of a sunset in January! I took these photos after a winter storm on January 24, 2017. I’m happy with the way the photos I took that day turned out. In addition to these photos, I also took some other photos that will be used for future fabric designs. Right now they are not available for sale or public viewing, but once they are I’ll…

Sunset Photo Dump- July 31-August 6, 2016
Right now I’m working on sewing new things that I hope to blog about soon, but in the mean time, I need to blog about something! The first week of August, there was a lot of storms in Arizona. Since it’s Arizona’s monsoon season, the time when we get summer storms and lots of rain, there was a lot of clouds, humidity, and heat with a dash of dust storms, called haboobs. I was born and raised in Arizona, so I expect it to happen every summer. My favorite part of monsoon season is the sunsets. That’s when the clouds make some very spectacular sunset and I pull my camera…

Kearny Brush Fire Sunset
Due to growth spurts recently, I decided to make some posts about photos I’ve recently taken! On June 17, 2015 a brush fire started near Kearny, Arizona. It was a very serious fire because it was very close to the town of Kearny and threatened (And burned a few) buildings and threatened the town. Fortunately, the fire remained in the river bed near the town and didn’t change direction. As of June 21, it the fire was 75% contained. (I have yet to hear anything more about the fire since then) I do not live in or near Kearny, but where I do live I could see the smoke from…

February 2015 Spring Blossom Photos (And a few sunsets)
To make a long story short, I missed photographing the cactus blossoms this year. And I’m also missing photographing the saguaro blossoms as well, so in order to make up for the lack of blossom photos, I’ll show you some photos I took back in February. All the photos in this post are from my Flickr account. The rest of the photos can be found in the February 2015 Nature Photos album.
