Hi everyone! Well, I finally finished the binding on the fall quilt. Now that it is done, I wanted to show off the finished version of the quilt… After thinking about this quilt, I decided to turn it into a wall hanging decoration instead of a throw quilt. Fall Quilt Update- Quilting on the Fall Quilt Is Finally Finished!
Hi everyone! I have some happy news! I finally finished quilting the fall quilt! Here’s a photograph of the finished quilt… I’m very happy with the way the quilt came out, but there are some spots I wanted to go back and work on quilting some more. I thought they would look better if I quilted them, but after trying to quilt them, I didn’t like the way they looked. Fall Quilt Quilting Progress Update
Hi everyone! I finally made a decision about how large I want my quilt to be. After a lot of thought, I decided to keep the quilt the size it currently is. I don’t like the idea of making the quilt larger because I think the fabric I wanted to add to the border of the quilt will take attention away from the panel’s picture. I also plan on turning the quilt into a wall hanging, but I don’t plan on adding the wall hanging sleeves to it for a while. Picking The Binding & Backing Fabric for the Fall Quilt
Since I’m getting closer to finishing the quilt, I wanted to pick out the fabric for the binding and backing. I knew I would need the backing before the binding, but I still wanted to pick out the binding. That way I wouldn’t need to worry about finding the right fabric for the binding when I need to work on the binding.

Sewing the English Paper Piecing Onto the Fall Quilt Corners & More
Hi everyone! After I finished working on the English paper piecing applique, I took a long period of time off working on the quilt to focus on other things that required more attention than the quilt. English Paper Piecing Border Corner Details for the Fall Quilt
After sewing the borders to the quilt panel, I focused on picking an English paper piecing design and the fabric to make it out of. I thought very hard about what kind of quilt block I wanted to use. Fall Quilt Update- The Borders and Corners Are Sewn On!
Hi everyone! I have some new progress to report on my quilt: I was able to sew the border and corners on! Doing this was pretty simple, (Sew the corner fabric onto the edges of the cut border fabric. Then sew them onto the quilt panel.) but I still wanted to mention it. In my last post, I showed the border fabric and corner fabric. The idea is to use the border fabric and corner fabric to make a frame around the panel.

My New Sewing Project: Making a Fall Quilt
Earlier this year, I had the urge to sew again. I normally sew a lot whenever I’m stressed out and, at that time I was very stressed out. So, I decided to start sewing something that would take my mind off my worries. After digging through my pile of fabric, I decided to make a queen sized fall quilt using a panel and fabric I already purchased that correspond with the panel.

Hi everyone! Even though it’s July, I’ve been focused on sewing projects for the fall, winter, and Christmas time. All of the projects I’m currently working on are still works in progress, so I decided to write a collective post about them. I’m very excited about them and can’t wait to finish them. Sewing Progress May 23, 2021- Christmas Dress Progress and Quilt Fabric Prep
After making so much sewing progress on May 22, I knew I would have trouble making more sewing progress the day after. I had some chores to do, so I wanted to focus on them instead of sewing. Despite this, I did make some sewing progress on my Christmas dress and prepared some fabric for a future Christmas quilt.
