  • Some Thoughts About JoAnn Stores Closing For Good

    March 11, 2025 /

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while since I published a post on this blog, but unfortunately I haven’t felt up to writing. I keep going back and forth about what to write and if I should talk about certain things online. Right now I feel like I have more things to talk about on this blog than on my other lifestyle focused blog. Since it’s been a while since I posted, I decided to start by talking about my thoughts about JoAnn stores closing for good.

  • Some Thoughts on JoAnn Stores and Their Most Recent Bankruptcy Filing

    January 21, 2025 /

Hi everyone! I don’t normally talk about stores or brands and their business dealings, but I feel like I need to talk about JoAnn’s most recent bankruptcy filing. In 2024, JoAnn filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. I used to mention the JoAnn store many times in my sewing posts, but I stopped because I started to not shop there for fabric or DIY supplies. There were several reasons for this, but one of them is because the closest store to where I live became to hard to me to travel to. Despite my slowing interest in shopping at JoAnn, I also didn’t like the fabric selection they had. The quality…

  • Cottagecore Inspired Fabric From Joann’s

    October 6, 2023 /

Hi everyone! As I write this post, I’m in the process of doing a major clean out of all the things I own. Some of the things I own are not things I need anymore or it is not in good shape. It takes a while to sort through everything, but I am making progress! The most recent discovery I made are fabric I purchased years ago, but never used. Some of them are more recent purchased (Within the last year). Since I’m so focused on cleaning instead of sewing, I decided to write posts about the fabric, and other various things I find that would make a great post…

  • Strawberry Tulle Fabric at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store

    March 23, 2023 /

Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, I went to JoAnn Fabric and Craft store for fabric and new sewing patterns. While shopping around, I found a bolt of tulle fabric with strawberries on it. I thought about if I should purchase it, but I ended up not. (I had other sewing projects I wanted to purchase fabric for instead) Even though I didn’t purchase the fabric, I liked it a lot and reminded me a lot of the Strawberry Dress that went viral a few years ago. I decided to write a post about the fabric, it’s cost, and anything else I felt of noteworthiness about it.
