Winter Deer Scene Embroidery Kit Progress: One Tree Finished & Progress On the Second

Hi everyone! It’s time for one last update post for the Winter Deer Scene I was embroidering. By the time I took the progress photos in this post, I was feeling a major creative burnout. I’ll go more into it later in this post.

Here is how the embroidery design looked like…

At this time, I was able to finish one tree in the design!

And I was working on the second…

Even though I made a lot of progress on the tree, I was feeling a major creative burnout.

At that time, I was working on some sewing and knitting projects that didn’t turn out the way I hoped they would. I was also trying to clean out my house and was actively trying to pick the things I want to keep and what I want to get rid of. After seeing so many supplies for creative projects that I no longer need nor want to make, I was feeling pretty depressed about my creative skills.

The embroidery project wasn’t one of the projects I want to scrap and get rid of the supplies for, but was feeling pretty frustrated about it. I wished I had more things organized and wanted my home to look nice again. Embroidering felt like an unnecessary distraction that I didn’t want to have anymore. I did eventually power through my burn out to complete the design, but by the time I was working on this tree, I was feeling pretty down.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
