Waverly Fabric for Pajama Tops (And Potentially Other Projects)

Hi everyone! It’s December, which means many things to me. One of the non holiday related things is that it’s time to work on making myself new pajamas.

I decided to make myself some pajama tops using Waverly 100% cotton fabric I purchased from Walmart. I think this is the most economical and logical way to find fabric for my tops. (Well, right now it does) Also, I plan on using two different designs for my top. They will match pajama shorts that I plan on making in the future.

The first two fabrics are these navy solid and blue floral fabrics…

The second is a purple solid and the same floral design with purple flowers…

And this floral fabric with red flowers…

I’m not sure what to pair the red floral fabric with. I don’t like the red fabric available at the Walmart I normally shop at, so I’m not sure what to pick to go with it.

The pattern I plan on making with these fabrics is Simplicity’s S8926. I used it to make pants in a previous post, but I haven’t talked about making a top with it online. I have already finished a top made out of the navy and blue floral fabric using S8926. I will talk about it in a future post.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
