Sewing Plans for May 2026
Hi everyone! It’s a new month, which means it is time for me to start focusing on new sewing projects. I’ve been slacking on my sewing for the past few months due to a busy life and too many allergies. (This year seemed harder on me and my relative than last year. I don’t know why, but it has been!) Since I wasn’t able to focus on sewing these past few months, I let a lot of sewing projects fall to the waist side. In May, I’m hoping to start sewing like I needed to again. I have projects that require immediate attention (Pajamas!) and others that I want to…

7 Sewing Projects for 2026
Hi everyone! It’s 2026 which means it’s time to make plans for the new year. Since this blog is dedicated to everything I create, I wanted to make a new list of projects I plan on making it 2026. For this post, I want to list seven sewing projects I plan on working on in 2026. Some of them I know I will work on this year while others I can get away with not working on.No matter if I will work on anything on this list or not, right now, in January 2026, these are the seven most important sewing projects I want to work on this year!

My Current Sewing Plans for 2025 (And Why There are So Many Plans for Quilts)
Hi everyone! It’s already July! I don’t know where the year has gone, but I am glad fall is coming soon. Although I enjoy fall, I love the temperatures most of all. As someone who lives in Arizona, I dread the hot summers. This is why the cooler temperatures of fall are a welcome relief to the heat. Since the year is halfway done, I decided to talk about some of my sewing plans for the rest of the year. I also wanted to talk about why I decided to add so many quilts to my to-sew list for 2025.

Sewing Plans for November 2024
Hi everyone! I can’t believe it is almost November! This year has been busy for me and has included some high points and low points. October was no different. Even though I had some major high points and some very unsettling lows, I was able to sew more than I thought I would be. I am happy that I have made progress in some of my quilt projects and already drafted the changes to a sewing pattern I want to use. Even though October was supposed to be a major sewing month for me with even more projects started and finishes, it didn’t turn out to be a complete flop…

New Flannel for a Quilt and Plans for It- Part 1
Hi everyone! Back in December, Joann Fabric and Craft store had a great sale on flannel. I wanted to make a flannel quilt for years, but I never purchased the fabric for it. When I saw the sale, I decided it was time to purchase flannel for quilts. In my order, I purchased four colors for two quilts. The first quilt is going to be red and white while the second quilt will be blue and light blue marble. I’ll talk about the blue and light blue marble fabric in a future post. As for the red and white, I wanted to talk about it and some ideas for quilt…

Current Sewing and Knitting Projects- May 2022
It’s been a while since I wrote a post about my current sewing projects and the progress I made on them. Since I’m in between finishing sewing projects and finishing knitting projects, I wanted to write a post about what I’ve been working on and how far I am to finishing them. Also, I want to talk about my future plans for sewing projects. I have future plans for knitting project, but they take so long to finish I decided not to talk about them in a post at this time.

McCall’s M5765 Sewing Plans and Fabric Selection
It’s summer and extremely hot where I live, but I’m already thinking of sewing clothing the fall and winter. I usually do this whenever the temperatures are at their hottest for two reasons: To make myself optimistic the temperatures will cool off and to give me enough time to sew myself some new clothes to wear in cooler temperatures. Even though I talked about my plans to make a coat using a Hilary Duff x McCall’s pattern from the mid to late 2000’s, I wanted to make myself another coat from the pattern collection. This time, it’s M5765.

McCall’s M5513 Sewing Plans and Fabric Selection
Hi everyone! Due to circumstances beyond my control, I’m having problems working on my sewing projects. I had plans to work on and finish at least three sewing projects this month, but I still have yet to work on them. None the less, I decided to switch my attention to other sewing projects that create things I know I will like to make in the coming months. One of the things I will need are coats. I already own coats, but after years of making due with the ill fitting coats I purchased, I decided to make my own. I already have plans to make two coats, but they are…

Costuming Sewing Plans for 2020
It’s almost 2020 and it’s time to start planning for new sewing projects. I’m not sure what kind of general sewing projects I want to work on, but I already have an idea of what kind of costumes I would like to make. Although I make a costuming sewing plan list every year, I don’t finish anything on my list. In this coming year, I already gathered all the fabric, patterns, and, with some costumes, all the supplies I need to make them. All I need to do is sew them! Because I’m so prepared to start sewing, I’m extremely confidant that I will complete nearly everything on this list.…
