Hi everyone! It’s time for the final post about the Winter Deer Scene embroidery kit progress!
In this post, I am showing the finished embroidery without the hoop. I am also going to talk about the embroidery design and if I like it.
This is what the design looks like…
And here is a close up of the finished design…
I decided not to hoop it for the photographs because I couldn’t find the right hoop size. Things are still a mess in my house due to a major clean out of my things and ongoing work in my house.
Anyway, I really like how it turned out. I originally thought it wouldn’t turn out really well, but it did. I am really happy I changed certain parts of the design, including combining two floss colors to make the deer’s body colors. I really like the way they turned out.
I mentioned in a previous post I didn’t take a closeup photograph of the deer’s two toned flosses while I was working on it. I also mentioned I would include one in this post.
So, here is a closeup of the deer and their floss colors…
After working on this embroidery design, I needed to take a break from embroidering. Not only did I have other things to do, I just felt like I needed some time away from embroidering to think about the next project. It has a more complicated design, which made me question if I should or should not make any sort of changes to make it easier for me to embroider.
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
